Yancy started writing this powerhouse song to share about our “super big, super strong, super wonderful God”. The greatest of all time! Inspired because her son loved superheroes.Fast forward a few years and no doubt “Super Wonderful” has become a fan-favorite. The beauty of music is everyone has their own story attached to songs. No doubt this one is full of them. Yancy shared “It’s always a blast to perform this song live. I remember having an aha moment last year thinking about my son and how he inspired me to write this song. I realized that if he never accomplished anything else in life, his life had already had significance because of what this song means to so many. As a Mom that was a pretty humbling revelation. Thinking about how, because of him, this truth has been sung on the lips of so many kids and families.” Yancy recruited Funky Franklin (Will Chapman of Colony House) to remix the song and bring a new dimension to the story.
